Sinfrerj / Anttur
Email marketing infrastructure with MailPoet and Amazon SES — domain verification, DKIM/DMARC authentication, and newsletter delivery for two Brazilian organizations.
The Challenge
Sinfrerj and Anttur needed a more robust email delivery solution for their newsletters and member communications. The existing setup relied on basic hosting SMTP, resulting in poor deliverability and emails landing in spam. The domains anttur.org.br and sinfrerj.org.br needed proper authentication, and DNS records had to be configured across different providers with panel limitations.
What We Built
Working with Fluxxo Comunicação and Arte Digital Internet:
- Amazon SES setup — configured the sending infrastructure with domain verification for anttur.org.br and sinfrerj.org.br
- Authentication DNS records — generated and deployed TXT and CNAME records for DKIM and DMARC authentication.
- MailPoet integration — configured MailPoet to use Amazon SES as the sending engine for both transactional emails and newsletters
- Delivery testing — validated email delivery from the member area (associado.sinfrerj.org.br), ensuring emails reached inboxes with correct authentication headers
The Result
Sinfrerj and Anttur now have an integrated email marketing infrastructure with significantly improved deliverability. MailPoet is ready for sending campaigns and member communications without relying on basic hosting SMTP. The risk of emails landing in spam has been drastically reduced thanks to proper DKIM/DMARC authentication via Amazon SES.
