The Challenge
Os Brasis e Suas Memórias is a cultural research project that needed significant restructuring of its WordPress site, particularly in the Vilas Pombalinas section. The site required new navigation, page reorganization, and migration to a cleaner hosting environment — all while dealing with recurring malware issues.
What We Built
- Vilas Pombalinas restructuring — implemented a new menu system and reorganized pages into clear sections: Projeto, Mapa, Pessoas, Direito Autoral/Referências
- Root URL configuration — set up /vip/ to open the correct landing page
- Hosting migration — transferred the site to a new host with updated plugins, standardized admin credentials, and malware monitoring
- Layout and content adjustments — iterative updates based on client feedback
- Ongoing maintenance — continuous malware monitoring and quick response to security issues
The Result
The site's Vilas Pombalinas section is now clearly organized with intuitive navigation, making research content easily accessible. The migration to isolated hosting improved stability and security, and ongoing monitoring keeps the site protected.
